This news greatly has saddened my heart today. As a nephew of Leonard and Al....and close childhood friend of Doug, Dirk and  and the rest of the Tucker boys close to my age,,,,it was almost natural for me to look upon Gib and Phyllis as yet another Aunt and Uncle.
Even though I am not living around Spencer now, I do hold all of the Tucker family close and dear to my heart. All of them have meant a great amount to me all of my life. I always keep  everyone in the Tucker family tree in my thoughts and prayers. They all have and still mean a great deal to me.

I was so sorry to hear of Gib's passing.  I have so many fond memories of him going back to when I was a little girl.  He was always so jovial with a big smile on his face. The memories are many, but, one that really sticks out in my mind was after my dad passed away so suddenly and Gib coming to the house shortly after I had made it home.  I was a mess and he just hugged me for so long.  He didn't say a word; just hugged me and it meant so much to me.
I pray you will feel His presence surrounding you in the days ahead with the strength and guidance you will surely need.

God Bless all of you!

A very sad day for Owen County community.  Gib was a leader with a smile on his face all day long.  I met Gib on a basketball court back in high school and I don't think he ever changed.  He was smiling then and always.

My husband, Mel, and I were not fortunate enough to know Gib as a close friend, but our few conversations with him left us with a very positive impression.  He seemed to be a kind, warm, loving man, and we are certain he will be sorely missed by his family and large circle of friends.
May you all be comforted by the strong arms of God and by your fond memories of Gib.
