Trish was born in Vincennes, Indiana on January 24, 1951 to Donald and Leola Rasner. She was a 1969 graduate of Half Moon Bay High School in California and a 2001 graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University. Trish worked for 25+ years at Van Tech and Boston Scientific in Spencer where she retired in January of 2016.

Trish was a member of Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville and served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher and Teen Ministry Leader. She was constantly encouraging, mentoring, and helping people both young old in every capacity that she volunteered in, such as The Crisis Pregnancy Center and Hospice Home Health.

Trish enjoyed life to its fullest and participated in many things, but her favorite hobby was her family. She devoted her life to spending time with them and loved to scrapbook the special memories made together. You would always see Trish with a camera in her hand capturing little moments of every child or grandchild’s special day.   She also enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking for her loved ones. Those who knew Trish, knew her to be a wise woman who used her experiences to bless and help others. She invested so much into so many and her encouragement and advice will be greatly missed! Her Christian life left a wonderful legacy for her family.

Trish is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert “Bob” Winders, three children, James Heaslet of Spencer, Tracy Noble (Chris) of Floyds Knobs, and John Winders (Heidi) of Linton, four step-children, Cass Kroskrity (Jason) of Los Angeles, Matt Winders (Marnie) of Carmel, Mark Winders of Spencer, and Luke Winders of Spencer, her 14 grandchildren Alissa, Dylan, Braden, Ethan, Aleah, Ellie Mae, Claira, Elizabeth, Max, Jake, Andrew, Austin, Alex, and Trinity, one great-grandson, Carter, her mother Leola Rasner, and siblings Elaine White (Bob) of Spencer, Karen Workman (Jim) of Cunot, Toni Churchill of Spencer, and Mike Rasner of Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Rasner, and her twin baby girls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7 at Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville with Pastor Steve Von Bokern officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.

Aunt Leola,Patty told me late last night of Trish's passing. I wasn't aware that she was even ill. Please know that you are in our hearts and of course always in our prayers. Please find comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of our Father and of uncle Don. She is finally getting to laugh and play with her baby girls and be there to rock them as Grandma has been doing for many years.  I don't have your number but feel free to call when you can.   All our love, Tina

Patricia's Dear Loved Ones,
I have known Patricia (I always called her Patricia) since we were 8 years old and had the pleasure of laughing, crying and being crazy kids together.  I have so many fond memories of these times, thanks to her.  She is an amazing woman who will be truly missed but never forgotten.  Praying for peace and love that surrounds your family knowing someday again we will all be together again. Love to All ??
