Lucille Weaver, 96, of Bloomington, formerly of Spencer, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at IU Health and Hospice House in Bloomington surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 9, 1920 in Bloomington to Edward and Margaret (Burks) Hendricks.  Lucille was married to Morgan Weaver for 69 years.  They owned and operated Jamilou Shady Acres Campground at Lake Monroe.  Lucille was a homemaker and seamstress.  She enjoyed crafting, fishing, and spending winters in Florida.  She grew up in the Church of Christ in Bloomington.

Lucille is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Snodgrass (Phillip) of Spencer, Marilyn VanDeventer of Bloomington, Carolyn Evans (Ernie) of Freedom, a step-daughter, Sue Bruce (Bob) of Monticello, grandchildren, Jeff Snodgrass (Jill), Bill Snodgrass (Tami), Jim VanDeventer (Natalie), Rick VanDeventer, Angi Brock (Zachary), Beth Taylor (Eric), Kevin Thompson, step-grandchildren, Greg Bruce (Carol), Mark Bruce (Shelly), 24 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son, James Morgan Weaver, Jr., two granddaughters, Tamara Jo VanDeventer and Louanne (Thompson) Salyers, a brother, Berry Hendricks, sisters, Eunice Underwood and Jean Hedrick.

Funeral service will be 11am, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm Friday and 9am until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the IU Health and Hospice House in Bloomington.

I am truly sorry. Your mamaw was a special lady. Always loved talking to her when I was doing something for her at the campground. Heaven definitely gained another sweet angel.
